I know I've been slacking...

OK, here's what I have read so far, at least as I remember:

I finished the Dune series, which ends with Chapterhouse: Dune by Frank Herbert . :) :) :) GMoE

Val and I read the first 3 books of the Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey. I liked them quite a lot. I especially liked the third book "The White Dragon".

Growing Up King by Dexter Scott King(a semi-biography of Martin Luther King) :) :) GMoE

I decided I would stop doing book reports on the things I read. It's really hard to do a synopsis on a book when I'm at work, so I decided to use the Goo Meter of Enjoyability(GMoE) to rate my like/dislike of what I read. I think I'll use smileys [ :) ] as my measuring device. All ratings are out of 5 possible smileys.

By the way, I REALLY like the story of what happened before, during and after Episode 3. Despite the poor acting (I feel) of Ep.3, the story is really quite good. Anakin's plummet to the dark side makes a WHOLE LOT more sense after reading the book. Of course, maybe it already made sense to you without the book, and I'm just slow on the uptake.
